Response on Designing Conference's Posters

After reading the article, I recognize how a conference poster should be and look like. Basically, a conference poster has to be divided into several sections with each section containing around 200 words. We have to pay attention on the size of text and the format of the title and subtitles. I also have to aware of the font color to make sure whether it is clear enough for the audience to read. Before I did not really pay attention about that, however, now I know I should choose clear font like Time Roman for the title and subtitles. The font color I choose should not be similar to the background color. Also, I understand that a recommended poster should contain words less than 800 so that readers will not be tired of reading the poster. I will bear all those tips in mind in doing the poster assignment.

  1. It looks like you and I both have the same understanding of a poster concept. Overall, to me, it is just like a report but with much more direct points and easy to follow visuals. I found the reading to be helpful as it really gives me an insight on what is expected on my a poster.
